What this course is for
You'll be able to: say in one sentence what LegalCRM does for a solo practice, and what it does not do.
You did not go to law school to answer the phone at 9:40 at night. But the person who was rear-ended on the turnpike this afternoon is searching for a lawyer tonight, and the firm that answers first usually gets the consult. That is the problem this course solves.
LegalCRM is your intake system. It catches every inquiry (a call you missed, a form on your website, a text), replies in the person's language with words you approved, puts that person on a board for the practice area they need, checks for conflicts before you spend an hour with them, and follows up at a human pace until they sign or say no. Then it tells you, in numbers, where people dropped off.
It does not practice law. It never tells anyone what their case is worth, never predicts a result, and never answers a legal question. Those go to you. It also does not contact people who never contacted you. Every sequence in LegalCRM starts because a person reached out to the firm first. That one design choice keeps you on the response side of the Bar's solicitation rules, and you will see it come back in almost every module.
On the Solo plan you are the attorney, the intake desk, and often the office manager. So the course is built around one idea: set it up once, carefully, and let it run. You will spend most of your effort in the first week, approving templates and choosing stages. After that, the system should need about 20 minutes of your attention a week, plus the conversations only you can have.
Here is the path:
- Your first hour: the number, the forms, the inbox, your phone.
- Your three pipelines: the board for each practice pack.
- Replying fast without being on call.
- The conflict check, starting on the form.
- From consult to signed retainer.
- Intake in Spanish that reads like Spanish.
- Your weekly 20 minutes with the numbers.
Then a capstone: you mystery-shop your own firm at 9:15 PM, in Spanish, from your personal phone.
Do it in LegalCRM
- Log in and open the dashboard.
- Find the three practice packs listed on your account. Write them down; you will build around them.
- Open Settings and confirm the firm name and the attorney name are spelled the way they appear on your Bar record and your website.
Ask the Guide
Paste this into the AI guide, without client names or matter facts:
"I'm a solo attorney in [practice areas]. Most of my inquiries come from [source]. What should I set up first this week, in order?"
